To prep for this blog post, I wanted to read over the early emails between Ellen and I because they are very telling to her personality. Ellen is detail oriented and great with words. She speaks so highly of everyone near and dear to her. This brings me to Andy. In her initial email to me she told me all about their relationship and how they met- “Andy and I were first introduced through being in the wedding party of our mutual friends! Meeting him felt like coming home: I never knew I would be so instantly comfortable with someone. Andy is truly the kindest, most selfless person I’ve ever known.” I teared up reading this. Since that email I’ve gotten to know the two of them so much better. They are so sweet around one another, and have come to trust me as well. With both their engagement session and wedding, I tried new techniques and poses because I could feel how much they trusted me. They made me be a better photographer. There is just something so special about their bond that I loved getting to witness.
Their wedding was a wonderful celebration of life and love. They chose to do a first look right before the ceremony to shake some nerves. Ellen wanted to do something a little different. Because music is so important to the two of them, they listened to and practiced their first dance. It was all kinds of adorable. I usually share my favorite part of the day, but who am I kidding, the whole thing was wonderful, really.
E&A- Goodness, you guys are the best. So so grateful to be your friends. Thank you for your kindness and trust!
I think I word vomited enough about these two so ignore me and check out the photos! I had to include this photo because this is the couple whose wedding they were both in when Ellen & Andy met. I love a good love story. 🙂Getting Ready: Aurora Inn
