A Spring Maternity Session at the Cleveland Museum of Art with Denise & Rob

You might remember these two from their engagement session, I photographed almost exactly a year ago. Well they planned their wedding in about five months, got married in October and now are expecting their first child! I can’t wait to watch them grow into amazing parents.

People get photographs taken for all sorts of reasons. But I really like the idea of a maternity session because it’s a chance for your child to see what their parents were like before a new baby changed their world. Growing up, I didn’t have many photos of my parents together and I’ve only seen one photo of my mom pregnant. I love the thought of a child 10, 20 years down the road looking at these photos and recognizing their parents real love.

My favorite photo in this set is of just Denise, in black & white. She has a sweet smile on her face and is beaming with joy. It really reminds me of the photo of Diane Keaton’s character in The Family Stone. (I can’t find a clip so you’ll just have to watch it 🙂 )

Can’t wait to photograph this little baby!spring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-sessionspring-maternity-session
