Erin & Phil met at work in Vancouver. They both really like maps and cities and Cleveland. Also all things I like so I knew we were a good match. 🙂 Erin & Phil decided to have their wedding in Cleveland and sprinkle in some Cleveland accents in their details (be sure to check out that cake!)
Since Erin & Phil live in Vancouver I didn’t get a chance to meet them until the week of their wedding for their snowy engagement session. The snow carried over a tiny bit into their wedding day but it sure didn’t stop the party.
Erin & Phil wanted to do a first look so we had plenty of time for portraits before the ceremony. We went to a bunch of awesome Cleveland staples like the Public Library and the Flats. After we warmed up from the *lovely* “spring” day it was showtime. I’ve been dying to check photographing a wedding at the Arcade off my bucket list, so I had to pinch myself a few times during the silly and touching ceremony.
My favorite parts of the day revolved around some *NSYNC. Towards the end of dinner the DJ decided it would be a good time to play Tearin’ Up My Heart so the head table naturally burst out into song and dance, while still eating. It was fantastic. Then as my time was ending, I was packing up my gear and Bye Bye Bye started playing. I turned around and saw Phil and some of his groomsmen break it down so I whipped out my camera to capture it. 🙂 See the evidence below.
Thanks so much Erin & Phil for inviting me to capture your big day! I’m glad Cleveland treated you well! 🙂Â
