They say, when you know, you know. When I first met with Lauren & Brad over skype, we talked about their upcoming wedding at the breathtaking Franklin Park Conservatory and how Brad proposed. When it was my turn to share I rattled off some random facts about myself and ended with, “…and I like dogs.” Two seconds later, their “pupchild”, Ivy appeared in the webcam. And that’s when I knew. 😉
Lauren & Brad currently reside in North Carolina but grew up and spent plenty of time in Ohio. They decided the Franklin Park Conservatory was the perfect spot for them to tie the knot and I couldn’t agree more. The Conservatory is so gorgeous. The wedding ceremony and reception was held in the Palm House. Watching Lauren cascade down the white staircase was such a wonderful moment. When her parents joined her at the bottom of the stairs, all of the guests were crying. Lauren & Brad are loved so deeply by their friends and family and it was so heartwarming to watch.
There were several parts of this wedding day that I loved but I think my favorite was after Lauren, Brad, and I finished the end of night photos. I headed inside while the newlyweds stayed outside to take it all in, their wedding, the beautiful location and their loved ones here to watch it all. Some moments are meant to be kept private and I think this was one of them.
Thank you Lauren & Brad for inviting me to be a part of your big day! I’ve loved getting to know you two! 🙂
