Laura & Fletcher’s wedding day was fantastic. I’m still blown away (unintentional glass pun) by all of the amazing little moments and details that these two put together. The wedding took place at Fletcher’s family home and farm in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. I thought long and hard about this blog post because this wedding meant a lot to me. On the wedding day I was constantly reminded about how important love and your loved ones are. I started to tear up when Fletcher’s parents danced together. Love was such a key part of this wedding, even down to the little details. The glass favors were made by Fletcher, all of the glass orbs were made by Fletcher and his father. Laura designed the invitations, a family friend made the wedding cake. Everything was strung together by people who love and support this couple.
A couple of weeks after the wedding I learned that Fletcher’s father passed away. He was so present on the wedding day, so funny, kind, goofy, and warm. He was one of my favorite parts of the wedding and I think most would agree.
I was so honored to be apart of Laura & Fletcher’s big day, this wedding touched me in a special way. It reminded me about why I do what I do. I preserve memories, capture moments so that people can remember these big days forever, for generations to come. It’s a huge responsibility but I take it on wholeheartedly. I’m done ranting, I’m not a writer so I’ll let the photos speak for themselves now.
