This blog post has over 80 images. I think that begins to explain how great of a day Beth & Chris had. I arrived in Savage, Maryland to find a overcast sky (Yay! Wedding photographers like clouds.) and some of my family members outside of the hotel where Beth was getting ready. Yes, Beth is my cousin! I was so honored that she asked me to photograph her and Chris’ big day. I was also really excited to see some family that I haven’t seen in quite a while! When I entered Beth’s hotel room I got right down to work photographing the details. That dress… right? I’m a little obsessed. Getting ready is my favorite part of the day, I love shooting candids of everyone hanging out before the craziness happens. I love the flooding of emotions (see Beth’s sister, Jackie’s face after she put her dress on and during the first look!), and I love watching the joy people are feeling right before they get to walk down to the love of their life.
Before the ceremony and reception at The Great Room at Savage Mill, Beth & Chris did a first look! followed by some portraits of their very animated bridal party. 🙂 The day was filled with laughter and love. During the best man toast, Beth got a surprise of her own when all of the groomsmen and Chris performed a choreographed song and dance. That was my favorite part of the evening, I’m sure along with everyone else.
Beth & Chris – thank you again for allowing me to document your big day, I wish you all the best!
I had to make a gif of Chris saying “wow” during the first look. Too perfect!
One of my all time favorite groomsmen photos!
Chris’ momma beaming with joy! 🙂
That cape though…
You can watch the whole performance here
She’s 7, and my cousin, and going to be famous someday real soon.
