Autumn & Griffin’s session was the last from my Philadelphia/Washington DC trip. We decided to head to the Potomac River and hung out amongst the willow trees. I love getting to photograph my friends’ relationships because I think it’s an important thing to document. Most of my friends are photographers and are more comfortable behind the camera, but it’s fun to switch things around every once in a while. 🙂
I met these two in college. Autumn and I bonded in our photojournalism classes and she quickly became one of my dear, dear friends. She is such a joy to be around and I love her warm, infectious personality. Autumn is definitely one of my most caring friends, and I’m so lucky to have her in my life. While getting to know Autumn, I had the privilege of watching Autumn and Griffin’s relationship grow and blossom. They are crazy awesome photojournalists and because of that, have endured a lot of long distance during their relationship. Despite moving around they have always been supportive of each other’s dreams and I love that about them. Fortunately they were both able to find staff photographer jobs at nearby papers in Virginia!
Hope to see you guys again real soon!
