Christine & Blake got married on a particularly warm day in June, but despite the hot temperatures these two still had the best day of their lives with their friends and family. If one thing was clear to me on their wedding it was how important their people are to them.
During the wedding day I got to know Christine & Blake’s mothers. They were both very similar to one in another. Making sure they got all of the photos of their families and close friends. During the reception, I photographed Blake’s parents and their friends of almost 50 years. FIFTY YEARS! They apologized for bothering me but I was so happy to do it. My friends are some of the most precious people in my life so I had no problem taking a quick portrait of the group. It just made me so excited for the next twenty, thirty years with my people.
Because of this illustration of friendship and connection, it then made so much sense to me why Christine & Blake care for their friends and family so deeply, and of course each other. This is just one of the many things the newlyweds have in common.
B&C – Thanks so much for sharing your lives with me! Tell Layla I said hello! 🙂
