Darcie & Joe had the perfect day for a late summer wedding at the Ariel Pearl Center. The classic vibe of the venue paired well with the bold pops of pink in the gorgeous florals by Life in Bloom. Before heading to the ceremony we stopped at the Cleveland Museum of Art for the first look and some portraits. We had the whole place to ourselves, a rarity in the summer! The day was filled with so much laughter and no shortage of happy tears.
My favorite moment of the day was during the ceremony. Before getting into the vows, the officiant started to talk about the parents. How the parents dreamt of this day. When they got married and imagined their future, they thought about their future children, and their children growing up and fulfilling their dreams and getting married someday just like they were. I had to hold back some tears. Rarely do we turn it on the parents on the wedding day and I just thought it was so sweet and it made me think of my parents. As a couple you aren’t just dreaming of your life together but the life you could bring into this world. It was quite beautiful.
D&J – Thanks for sharing your beautiful big day with me!
